achilles. are an instrumental out fit hailing from Shaftesbury in Dorset, best known to date,
for epic live performances of their own brand of rhythm fuelled post-rock.
in 2009 they won the Dorset Unsigned Music Awards and gained high praise from Rob Da Bank and Hugh Stevens,
With both DJs choosing to play them on Radio One, Tom Robinson was quick to introduce them on his BBC Radio 6 show.
Recent collaborations with Florence and the Machine harpist Tom Monger and Alusha Chagrin, (Shlomo's Vocal Orchestra, the Boxettes)
are due to be released in 2011 along with a string of other original material and re-mixes.
